Community Guidelines

Last updated: October 10, 2026

Hirevers Academy helps people around the world learn new skills and grow their careers in technology. These guidelines keep it trustworthy for attendees, organizers, and the employers who verify our certificates.

Who can post events

Anyone with a Hirevers account can post an event, including universities, communities, companies, and independent educators.

Event requirements

  • The event is related to technology, IT, or tech careers.
  • The event is free to attend.
  • The event is real and takes place as described.
  • The title, description, date, time, and format are accurate.
  • The registration link leads directly to the registration page or the event itself, and does not ask for payment or for sensitive personal data beyond what is needed to register.

Not allowed

  • Scams, phishing, malware, or links that impersonate other organizations.
  • Multi-level marketing, get-rich-quick offers, or investment and trading schemes.
  • Hate speech, harassment, sexual content, or violent content.
  • Content you do not have the rights to share.
  • Duplicate or spam listings.
  • Selling attendance codes or certificates, or offering certificates without real attendance.

Certificates: for organizers

  • Enable certificates only if you will share the attendance code live during your session.
  • Share the code during the session, ideally near the end, and never post it publicly.
  • If the code leaks, generate a new one from your attendance page.
  • Revoke certificates claimed by people who did not attend.

Certificates: for attendees

  • Claim certificates only for events you actually attended.
  • Do not share attendance codes with people who did not attend.
  • Use your real name on your certificates.

Reporting and review

Anyone who is signed in can report an event. When an event receives many reports in a short period, it is hidden automatically until Hirevers reviews it. After review, we either restore the event or remove it. Certificates for removed events are shown as revoked on their verification pages.

Consequences

Breaking these guidelines can lead to events being removed, certificates being revoked, and accounts being suspended from Hirevers Academy or Hirevers.
