Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Hirevers Academy collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Hirevers Academy is part of Hirevers. The main Hirevers platform has its own privacy policy for your Hirevers account.
1. Information we collect
- From your Hirevers account: your account ID, name, email address, and profile photo, received when you sign in.
- Certificate name: the name you choose to appear on your certificates.
- Events you publish: event details, cover images, and attendance codes.
- Participation records: the events you register for, the certificates you claim, and their status.
- Reports: the reason and optional details you submit, linked to the email of your account.
- Payments: the wallet address you pay from, the transaction ID, and the amount. Bitcoin transactions are permanently public on the blockchain.
- View and click counts: to count each visitor only once per day, we create a salted one-way identifier from your IP address and browser type. We do not store your IP address itself, and these identifiers are deleted after 30 days.
- Technical logs: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs for security and troubleshooting.
2. How we use information
We use this information to run Hirevers Academy, to issue and verify certificates, to show organizers who attended their events, to send event reminders and certificate notifications that you can unsubscribe from at any time, to process promotion payments, to prevent fraud and abuse, and to improve the service. We do not sell your personal information.
3. What is visible to others
- Published events are public.
- Anyone with a certificate ID can open its verification page, which shows the name on the certificate, the event, the organizer, the relevant dates, and whether the certificate is valid.
- Organizers can see the names and certificate status of people who registered for or attended their events. They cannot see your email address.
- Organizers cannot see who reported their events.
4. Cookies
We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. Your theme preference may be stored in your browser. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics cookies.
5. Service providers
We rely on trusted providers to run Hirevers Academy: Vercel for hosting, Neon for our database, Brevo for sending email, and ImageKit for image storage. To check Bitcoin payments and prices, we query mempool.space and CoinGecko, which includes the wallet address you provide. Google Calendar and LinkedIn receive information only when you choose to use those buttons. Your information may be processed in countries other than your own.
6. Retention
We keep account and participation data while your account is active. Certificate records are kept so that certificates remain verifiable. Hashed visitor identifiers are deleted after 30 days.
7. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or object to how we use it. If you ask us to delete your data, we will revoke your certificates and remove your name from them, because a certificate cannot remain verifiable without the name it was issued to. 8. Children
Hirevers Academy is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
